Start: July 7th, 2024
End: July 10th, 2024
Organised by Plymouth Marine Laboratory, 7th Advances in Marine Ecosystem Modelling Research conferences – AMEMR 2024 will be held at the University of Plymouth in the UK, as well as online.
Since the first symposium, AMEMR has grown into the forum to present and absorb the latest developments in marine ecosystem modelling and discuss new challenges and opportunities. It provides an opportunity to develop networks and Early Career Researcher involvement is encouraged.
Modelling is a fundamental tool for understanding marine ecosystems and providing projections of potential future states of the environment and impacts of policy decisions. Marine modelling is continuously evolving, in response to new scientific knowledge, techniques and societal needs. AMEMR promotes interdisciplinary discussion among stakeholders and modelling, observational and experimental scientists and students who want to contribute to the conceptualisation, design, development and application of improved and new marine ecosystem models of all types.
Abstract submission closes 15th December 2023.
Registration open 1st December 2023.
